ShareGC Game of the Week: District battles take shape
When Cocoa (6-0) and Astronaut (5-1) meet, a district title is usually on the line. Such has been the case in three of the past four years – and Friday will prove no different – as the country rivals clash once again in Titusville. The Tigers won last year's battle at home in Cocoa, 17-0, on their way to a Class 3A state title. Although both programs moved down to Class 2A for the 2009 season (District 3, to be exact) this year's contest is no less significant, as the winner is almost virtually assured of a taking home a district championship.
