Gators target Ely cornerback

Last year the Florida Gators were one of the three finalists for cornerback Patrick Johnson from Ely High School in Pompano Beach, Florida. Johnson ended up selecting LSU and since then has accused Florida of flagging his ACT score. Now the Gators are targeting another Ely cornerback in Michael Carter and fortunately Carter said the whole Johnson situation wouldn’t affect his opinion of Florida.
