Gators Recruiting: Coaches make final push

It's 10 days until national signing day and the upcoming week is sure be a busy one for the Florida coaching staff.

The staff will be on the road all week visiting with Class of 2013 prospects one more time before the dead period begins on Monday.

Will Muschamp also will be making in-home visit with several prospects as he waits to make the last push for those prospects.

As we all know this last week is huge in recruiting as coaches get to see the prospects one more time and make their final push toward signing the prospect.

In this article GatorCountry.com will breakdown the last week for Florida’s remaining targets in the class as well as where the Gators’ coaching staff will be this week.

On Sunday:

Running backs coach Brian White will visit Winter Haven (Fla.) High running back Adam Lane.

Receivers coach Joker Phillips will visit Jacksonville (Fla.) Bishop Kenny receiver Ahmad Fulwood.

Joker Phillips wll visit Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian safety Nick Washington.

On Monday:

Will Muschamp, defensive ends coach Brad Lawing will visit Somerville (N.J.) Immaculate defensive end Tashawn Bower.

On Tuesday:

Will Muschamp, tight ends coach Derek Lewis and defensive ends coach Brad Lawing will visit Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer defensive end Antonio Riles.

On Thursday:

Will Muschamp and offensive line coach Tim Davis will visit Canton (Mich.) High offensive lineman Cameron Dillard.

Will Muschamp, receivers coach Joker Phillips and offensive coordinator Brent Pease will visit Frankfort (Ky.) Franklin County receiver Ryan Timmons.

Muschamp is also scheduled to visit the following guys this week. At this time GatorCountry.com hasn’t confirmed the day each visit will happen:

Brentwood (Tn.) Academy cornerback Jalen Ramsey

Vienna (Ga.) Dooly County defensive tackle Montavius Adams

St. Petersburg (Fla.) Catholic running back Ryan Green

Plantation (Fla.) South Plantation running back Alex Collins

Defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin is scheduled to visit Kingsland (Ga.) Camden County linebacker Jarrad Davis this week.

Here are the rest of Florida’s targets and which schools will be visiting them this week:

New Smyrna Beach (Fla.) High receiver James Clark expects Florida assistants and Ohio State assistants in home this week as well as Dabo Swinney of Clemson. Clark will visit Florida this weekend.

Plantation (Fla.) South Plantation running back Alex Collins expects Miami, Bret Beilema of Arkansas and Will Muschamp of Florida to visit him this week.

Frankfort (Ky.) Franklin County receiver Ryan Timmons expects Will Muschamp and Joker Phillips to visit him along with Ohio State and Kentucky coaches before making a visit to Florida this weekend.

Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer defensive lineman Antonio Riles will have Florida in his home as well as Georgia this week.

Vienna (Ga.) Dooly County defensive tackle Montravius Adams expects Florida, Auburn, Georgia, Clemson and Alabama coaches to visit him this week.

Somerville (N.J.) Immaculate defensive end Tashawn Bower expects Will Muschamp as well as Florida State, Auburn and LSU assistants to visit him before visiting Auburn this weekend.

East Mississippi Community College defensive tackle Jarran Reed will be visited by Florida assistants this week as well Ole Miss and North Carolina assistants before visiting Ole Miss next weekend.

Port St. Lucie (Fla.) West Centennial defensive tackle Jay-nard Bostwick should have Florida assistants and Alabama assistants in-home, plus Al Golden of Miami in home before visiting Florida this weekend.

Brentwood (Tenn.) Academy cornerback Jalen Ramsey will have Lane Kiffin, Jimbo Fisher and Will Muschamp in-home this week in that order.
