“Coach (D.J.) Durkin offered me,” Brown said via text. “My coach let me know that he had offered me today. It’s a great offer.”

The 6-foot-9, 376-pound Brown already reports an impressive 12 scholarhsip offers from top schools around the country.

Brown claims that all offers are big, but that the SEC offers are even bigger in his eyes.
.
“Any SEC offer looks good on your resume,” Brown said. “Especially an offer from the University of Florida.”

The Peachtree Ridge prospect “loves” the pro-style offense Florida will be running this fall because he believes it will prepare him for the next level.

Besides the offense, the Florida coaches also stand out to Brown at this early stage of the process. He’s really impressed by Will Muschamp, but he’s not the only coach on the Gators’ football staff that has caught Brown’s attention.

“I really like coach (Brent) Pease,” Brown said. “He’s a great coach as well. Also, the offensive line coach, Tim Davis, has a big coaching background and is a good coach.”

Brown said he plans to visit Florida sometime soon, but an official date has not been set.
