Gators recruit ‘15 QB De’Andre Johnson

Head out to any varsity football game on a Friday night and it’s highly unusual to see a freshman starting at quarterback.

Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast’s De’Andre Johnson, a Class of 2015 prospect, is one of those rare quarterbacks. He started all 14 games for the Buccaneers as a freshman.

First Coast finished 14-1 on the season, largely due to the play of the young quarterback. Johnson threw for 2,929 yards with 25 touchdowns and just seven interceptions.
