Gators make impact on Mike Gilliard

As the recruiting year gets into full swing, the ties Mike Gilliard has to the Florida Gators continue to grow. Across his home city of Valdosta lives Greg Reid, the first Gator commitment who just happens to go to Lowndes High, the rival of Gilliard’s Valdosta High. Now the 6-3, 205-pound linebacker has a high school teammate claiming the Gators are on top.
