Gator Country debuts recruiting database
Today Gator Country is very proud to unveil our brand new, state of the art recruiting database that promises to be the most accurate found anywhere at tracking recruits the Florida Gator football team are hot after! We're also proud to debut a brand new feature not seen anywhere else - Recruiting Notebooks! Read on for the details...
Our new recruiting database will focus exclusively on prospects that the Florida Gators are interested in, thus giving us the opportunity to just focus on them. As a result, our unique recruiting database will be the most accurate found anywhere—more so than any of the national networks. Of course, for national coverage, you’ll be able to turn to ESPN’s improving national database and coverage of recruiting by their own expert team as part of your Gator Country subscription.
Here’s a snapshot of our database:

Due to our user-friendly layout as seen above, you’ll be able to see at a glance which prospects are part of the GC Hot 50, offered by the Gators, have committed to Florida, and if there’s videos available. Plus, the database is sortable, meaning you can click any header like 40 time and find out who currently has the quickest time on the board. You can also sort by name, position, and more.
By clicking a prospect name, you’ll view their profile. Here’s an example profile:

Our comprehensive prospect profiles show vital stats, photos, videos, and more via a nifty tabbed interface. There, you’ll find:
SCOUTING REPORTS - You’ll get our unique take on each prospect from Hollywood Bob, Swampie, and ESPN’s Scouts, Inc. division for the most comprehensive scouting report on the internet.
VIDEOS - Clicking on the video tab will present you with a list of highlight videos and interviews of the prospect, if available.
ACCOLADES - There you’ll find out what honors the prospect has garnered as well as any special rankings.
STATISTICS - When football season kicks in, you can go there to keep tabs on how the prospect has done through the season.
VISITS - Soon you’ll be able to see which official visits the prospect has set up.
STORIES - All stories and interviews conducted on Gator Country and ESPN will be listed here.
Finally, we’re proud to show off a very unique and cool feature - the Recruiting Notebook. The notebook in each prospect’s profile will contain notes, tidbits, brief interviews, and more that acrue through out the prospect’s career so you can follow him as his career evolves. What is especially unique about this is there will be a central Recruiting Notebook where all the latest prospect notes will be displayed so you won’t miss any and it will be updated continuously throughout the year.
Here’s a snapshot of our central Recruiting Notebook:

Very soon, we plan on offering the capability to keep track of your favorite prospects in the database and notebooks via RSS and alerts.
You can access the Recruiting Database, Prospect Profiles, and the Recruiting Notebook by clicking the FB Recruiting tab in the menu at the top of Gator Country. Plus, you can access a list of commitments, offers, signees, GC Hot 50 and more there. Enjoy!
Later we’ll unveil the same for basketball recruiting as well as interactive rosters, scholarship charts, etc. for both sports.
Most features are reserved for our subscribers, so if you’re not a member yet, now is a great time to join Gator Country and soak up our extensive, most accurate recruiting information and insider tidbits!
