ShareFlorida targets New Jersey lineman
Tuesday was a big day for Randolph, N.J., offensive lineman Brendan Mahon as he received a scholarship offer from Florida.
“(UF assistant) coach (Frank) Verducci called my coach and told him he wanted to offer me a scholarship to Florida,” Mahon said. “It’s a really big deal for me to get an offer from a great place like Florida.”
Verducci had strong words to tell Mahon when they spoke.
