In the past couple of weeks, two of North Carolina's top players, Brandon Barnes and Duane Maddox, both committed to North Carolina State. There had been rumors that their friend and fellow North Carolinian, linebacker Terrell Manning, was going to join the two in Raleigh. However, Manning said the events of the past weeks won’t affect his decision and that the Florida Gators are still very much in the picture.
