BRADENTON – During the IMG Madden 7-on-7 Southeast Regional Qualifier over the weekend, 2012 Under Armour All-American defensive lineman Dante Fowler watched from the sidelines in a folding chair (and a gray “Gators” t-shirt, for good measure) instead of competing on the field – something he didn't seem entirely adjusted to. But as Fowler starts to prepare to head to Gainesville and compete on the college level in the SEC, his brother Donterio – a sophomore receiver who played alongside Dante at Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg last year – was busy standing out. The younger Fowler had an impressive performance for Team Tampa which should begin to start to generate some early buzz around his recruitment as well.
