Dyron Dye

Gator Country has learned that Sanford Seminole defensive end Dyron Dye will be sidelined at least two games with an internal inflammation that doctors believe will heal quickly, allowing the highly recruited lineman to return to action, possibly within two to three weeks.

Seminole coaches are encouraged by the latest reports. While the optimistic diagnosis is that Dye could return within two to three weeks, what we don’t know is if he’s a quick or slow healer. But, he is expected to return to the playing field and to be able to go at full speed once again.

Also, doctors have reiterated that this is not career-threatening.

College coaches have gotten word from Dye’s parents and from the Seminole coaches that Dye will not only be okay, but will be returning to the playing field sometime soon.

As Gator Country gets more available information, we will pass it along.
