Dixie County’s Scott flies under radar

Cody Jones  |  April 19, 2008

How can you win Florida’s 2A Player of the Year award and fly under the recruiting radar? Somehow, Rodney Scott is doing just that. A 5-9, 195-pound running back from Cross City’s Dixie County High School, Scott rushed for 2,017 yards in ten games in 2007. Great numbers for sure, but not enough, at least so far, to merit a scholarship offer from the state’s big three.
