Brent Pease hits recruiting running
Forgive new Florida offensive coordinator Brent Pease if he hasn't had a chance to get acclimated to his new surroundings in the city of Gainesville since officially beginning his duties on Jan. 13. Of course, there is good reason for this as Pease hasn't spent a good deal of the last two weeks on the road as Florida hopes to close in on one of the top recruiting classes in the nation for the 2012 cycle.
In addition to meeting with a pair of top targets – receiver Nelson Agholor (6-1, 185, Tampa, Fla./Berkeley Prep) and offensive tackle Avery Young (6-5, 290, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) – Pease has also established landing a quarterback as a priority, too. Keystone State signal-caller Skyler Mornhinweg (6-3, 210, Philadelphia/St. Joseph's Prep) appears to be the top option on the board, while in-state prospect Paxton Lynch (6-5, 220, DeLand, Fla./Trinity Christian Academy) has also emerged as a possibility as well.
