Analysis: Carolinas are a gold mine
College football recruiting is a funny thing. Sometimes great players are found in places that aren’t considered true hotbeds for talent. North and South Carolina haven’t exactly been off the recruiting radar but they aren’t exactly household words when you think of real hot spots. The perception about football in this region is changing however, and the University of Florida could take a cue from one of its archrivals when it comes to establishing a recruiting base in the Carolinas.
