Last week brought our first glimpse of the incoming freshman, and the announcement that Stephen Alli had enrolled in school a year ahead of schedule, able to do so because he had already spent three years of high school in Toronto, followed by a year at prep school in New Hampshire. The plan had been for Alli to spend a second year at the Andover, but in checking in to see if he could enroll in January, the Florida staff found he could enroll immediately if he so desired. Alli already had all of his core classes completed, and also had passed a standardized test. And so in the matter of a few weeks, Stephen Alli moved from a Class of 2010 commitment, to a Class of 2009 member, giving Florida 16 incoming freshman, in addition to junior college transfer Edwin Herbert.
