ShareAdams gets monkey off his back
When Spencer Adams and his Butler High School teammates defeated Charlotte Independence, 21-20, earlier this season, not only were they part of history but they got a 13-game monkey off their backs. Butler’s win marked the first time in eight years that Independence lost a game to an in-state school and it ended an long losing streak to Independence by the Matthews, North Carolina high school.
