Upon further film review: Offense

Upon further review of watching last Saturday’s 20-17 win by Florida at Texas A&M, I had a few observations to share.

I’ve watched the game no less than a dozen times, dissecting most of the plays many times more by pausing and rewinding in an effort to learn as much as I possibly can about what the Florida Gators football team is trying to accomplish on both sides of the ball.

Now, I’m no coach, but I did spend several late nights listening and watching as college coaches evaluated prospects’ highlight videos back when I worked on the recruiting/football beat. I don’t pretend to know anywhere close to as much as anyone else, and especially not any coaches.

In fact, I’m certain there are dozens, if not hundreds or thousands, of Gators fans who know the game of football much more than I. What I’ve learned in my short time covering the team is that Gators fans are the most football savvy I’ve ever been around.

Notwithstanding, there were a few observations from my untrained eye Ill do my best to share. Up first, let’s take a look at the offense. Up next, defense.
