Four things the Gators must fix

The Gators enter the second half of the season at a surprising 6-0. Senior running back Mike Gillislee is well on his way to a 1,200-yard season. The Gators’ offensive line has beaten expectations. The defense is causing turnovers; in fact, they are plus-19 over last season’s dismal turnover margin. And, punter Kyle Christy and kicker Caleb Sturgis have proven to be the best special teams combination in college football.

However, all is not perfect. The Gators’ passing offense has been lackluster, the third-down conversion percentage is dismal and the Gators are giving up more than penalty yards than 95 other teams in the FBS.
