If the Florida football team’s Class of 2012 was the perfect storm, Antonio Morrison is the thunder.

The Gators linebacker is lightning quick, but it’s his smash-mouth style of play that will get him on Florida Field as a true freshman. Heck, the 6-foot-1, 209-pounder may even earn a spot as a starter during fall camp, which begins Aug. 3.

Whether he starts or not, GatorCountry.com expects Morrison to see significant playing time this season. He could see action on defense and his big hits is sure to show up on special teams as well. He’s certainly a signee to watch despite coming in as a three-star prospect by a pair of national recruiting networks out of Bolingbrook (Ill.) High.
