UF Football Notes: Preparing for LSU

After a somewhat surprising start to the season, the Gators were able to take a break from the game-week grind with a bye this past weekend. The extra time gave players a chance to nurse any lingering injuries, as well as the opportunity to escape the mental preparation that comes with studying an upcoming opponent. With the rest period over, No. 10 Florida turns its complete attention to No. 4 LSU who will venture in to The Swamp at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The Gators will face their toughest test of the young season with the Tigers, who will be looking to prove they are still as formidable as ever after two consecutive games that were closer than expected.

On Monday, coach Will Muschamp, along with quarterback Jeff Driskel, linebacker Jon Bostic and wide out Frankie Hammond, spoke to the media about what the Gators will need to do if they wish to be successful on Saturday afternoon.
