ShareUF Football Notes: Penalty problems
Oh, that evil yellow rag emerged from its grave to haunt the Florida Gators football team again during Saturday’s 31-17 win at Vanderbilt.
While the victory makes the No. 4 Gators bowl eligible with a 6-0 record (5-0 in SEC play), Florida was penalized 10 times for 80 yards.
“Obviously, so many things to clean up,” Florida football coach Will Muschamp said on the Gators IMG Sports Network. “We had some silly penalties again. I’ve got to go back and look at that and tie those issues up as we move forward.
“That’s something we cannot continue to be part of at all.”
