The Florida defense had arguably its worst showing last weekend against Vanderbilt.
The Gators were short-handed against the Commodores, missing defensive end Dominique Easley and linebacker Jelani Jenkins in Nashville, Tenn.
Heading into a 3:30 p.m. Saturday showdown with No. 7 South Carolina, the No. 2 Gators will need all hands on deck, as they will certainly be confronted with the tough task of stopping Heisman Trophy candidate Marcus Lattimore, along with the Gamecocks’ fearless signal-caller, Connor Shaw.
With Saturday’s critical game creeping near, on Wednesday, Florida defensive coordinator Dan Quinn spoke about his defenses’ keys for this weekend.
