UF Football Notes: Beating a rival

Coming off a season which yielded no signature victories for first year coach Will Muschamp and his Florida squad, the Gators entered into the 2012 season with little in terms of expectations.

Four months later, the Gators sit squarely in position for a BCS bowl bid with some arguing if the Gators don’t perhaps deserve a shot to invade the sandy turf of South Beach for a chance to play for it all.
