Top 10: SEC Running Backs
Gator Country continues its mini-series taking a look at the Southeastern Conference’s Top 10 at a number of different positions heading into 2012.
The series relies on precedent, as well as expected growth and development to determine the Top 10 in each category.

Today, we continue with the SEC’s Top 10 running backs.
It’s a position that would have looked drastically different but has been stripped of some of its premiere talent because of poor decisions by those student-athletes who possessed the talent.
Isaiah Crowell surely would have been on this list had he not been dismissed from Georgia. Same goes for Michael Dyer, who was released from Auburn this past offseason.
Missouri’s Henry Josey is also out for the season with an injury.
Despite the loss of elite talent, the SEC still features some of the nation’s top backs. Without further adieu, here they are:
