The sourest note of a four game losing streak that Randy Shannon’s first season into a nightmare was Miami’s final game at the Orange Bowl. The Hurricanes looked nothing like the team that turned that old stadium into one of the great home field advantages in college football as they dropped a 48-0 decision to Virginia.
