For a rivalry game that has been circled on the calendar of every Southeastern Conference football fan since February 5, Saturday’s Florida-Tennessee matchup (3:30 p.m., Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, CBS) is like a soda that has lost its fizz. The top-ranked Gators are 30-point favorites, the first time in the 38-game series history something like that has happened, and there hasn’t been anything close to a verbal rocket exchange, only an off target midweek Scud by Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin that produced very little boom and no damage. It’s been a rather boring week, but that’s just the way Urban Meyer likes it.
