In his sophomore season, Florida Gators quarterback Jeff Driskel has enjoyed a renaissance of sorts concerning his surrounding playmakers. Deep in the heart of the opposition's defensive backfield, things are beginning to change after Gators fans, coaches and players were pounded over the head during a 2011 season that was a disappointment on so many levels.

Coach Will Muschamp’s team was expected to struggle once again finding capable receivers to help either Driskel or his preseason competition for the starter’s role, Jacoby Brissett. However, only four games into what is looking like an increasingly promising season, it now looks like Driskel and his playmakers have begun to solidify one of the main areas of improvement for a team whose leading receiver in 2011, Andre Debose, only hauled in four touchdown passes.

On Saturday, Driskel completed 18 passes to ten different receivers in Florida’s 38-0 shutout win against Kentucky.
