The Good, The Bad, The Realistic

As we are just days away from the Gators season opening game against Bowling Green; fans and media are pontificating on how the offense will perform after a rather, well, horrendous past two seasons.

Florida will start a new quarterback, a new running back and a new receiver, joining new offensive coordinator Brent Pease in 2012. Because of the changes, there is more unknown than known and that allows speculation to run rampant. Who will start, Jeff Driskel or Jacoby Brissett? How will Mike Gillislee handle being the premier running back? Will a Gators receiver finally step up?

However, I’m tired of speculating how well the Gators will do throughout the season, because that would likely give me an aneurism. So instead, I will examine three scenarios (the good, the bad, the realistic) of the Gators first offensive drive of the season.
