Surgery for Debose, out for the year

Andre Debose’s debut as a Florida Gator will have to wait a year. One of the jewels of Florida’s top five recruiting class of 2009, Debose was expected to play the slot position occupied the last three years by Percy Harvin but he has been sidelined with hamstring issues that are far more serious than a typical strain or tear. Florida coach Urban Meyer announced Tuesday that Debose won’t be playing this year.
