The No. 16/17 University of Florida football team claimed its SEC opener for the seventh consecutive year, as the Gators defeated Tennessee 33-23 before a crowd of 90,744 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. With the victory the Gators have also started the season 3-0 for the seventh consecutive year.
