TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — In front of a crowd of 101,821 at Bryant-Denny Stadium, No. 1 Alabama (5-0, 2-0 SEC) defeated No. 7 Florida (4-1, 2-1), 31-6 Saturday, ending Florida’s streak of 24 regular-season wins, 16 SEC wins and 13 consecutive road wins. Florida head coach Urban Meyer fell to 2-3 against Alabama with wins against the Crimson Tide in 2006 and 2008, and losses in 2005, 2009 and 2010.
