After a scoreless first quarter, the Gators erupted for 28 points in the second quarter. Here's a gallery from the first half of the Gators' 56-10 win against the Hawai'i Warriors in the 2008 season opener at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

Brandon James scored twice in the second quarter. He dove into the end zone for a 1-yard touchdown run, and later returned a punt 74 yards for a touchdown.

Major Wright returned an interception 32 yards for a touchdown for the first defensive score of the game.

Chris Rainey scored on a 33-yard touchdown run with three minutes to go before halftime.
