Special teams ‘special’ vs. Vandy

Perhaps the biggest surprise of the night was the performance by Florida’s special teams unit.

In the Gators' 31-17 victory, Florida was able to gain momentum through some huge plays on special teams.

Florida coach Will Muschamp thought special teams, especially the fake punt in the third quarter, helped turn the tide of the game. Muschamp says the team has been working on the fake punt in practice for a few weeks now.
