Sources: TE Reed suffered concussion

According to sources close to the situation, Florida Gators tight end Jordan Reed suffered a concussion during Saturday’s 38-0 win against Kentucky in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

The extent of the concussion is not known, but even mild concussions can be cause for concern. The positive news is the No. 11 Gators (4-0 overall, 3-0 in Southeastern Conference play) have a bye week before hosting LSU on Oct. 6 in The Swamp. Reed’s status for that game is not known at this stage.
