Update on Marcus Maye’s status

Florida Gators true freshman Marcus Maye just arrived on campus but hasn’t been able to work out with the Florida football team while rehabilitating an injury.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound safety from Melbourne (Fla.) Holy Trinity had a bucket (partial) tear in his meniscus in his knee. This injury occurred on senior night of his basketball season on Jan. 31, just before he inked with the Gators on national signing day.
