Last year, Greg Mattison's troops were on auto-pilot. He had his defensive linemen coached up so well that he didn't have to make decisions about substitutes. They knew themselves so well they made the subbing decisions themselves and if you want a pretty good idea about how well it worked for the Florida Gators, just ask Troy Smith.
