The most anticipated coach to take the podium at the 2012 Southeastern Conference Media Days was also one of the first coaches to take the podium.

South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier kicked off Tuesday's first session and, as expected, there was no shortage of quotes that made a ballroom full of reporters chuckle several times.
