Role of assistant coaches under-appreciated

First of all, it is great to be on in an expanded role with Gator Country and I am looking forward to delving into some football topics this summer to get our juices flowing. I think one of the most under-appreciated positions in sports by fans and the media is the assistant coach. Not many people have any clue who are the coordinators for the Indianapolis Colts or Pat Riley’s assistants with the Miami Heat even during their title seasons, but these people are invaluable to the success of great franchises and program.
