ShareRoberson’s return sparks Gators
“Honestly, I don’t feel like I got hurt. I’m just ready to go get back in that rotation and get better every week to do what I can to help this team to the next level,” Marcus Roberson said Thursday at the Florida football team's media day, flashing a big grin.
Of course, Roberson was hurt last Nov. 12 at South Carolina.
At first, Florida coach Will Muschamp said it would be a “four to six week injury,” but Roberson ended up having to wear a neck brace for much of the next two months.
Losing the freshman was a sizeable loss for the Florida secondary. Prior to the injury, he had been one of the most consistent defensive backs on the team.
