Dan Quinn knows that if Florida's defense is going to successfully slow down powerful running teams like LSU this season, he and his staff will have to use a “blueprint.”

After being hindered by depth and inexperience issues over the last two years, the Gators entered the 2012 season surrounded by the hype that they could stand toe-to-toe with the No. 3 Tigers (4-0, 1-0 Southeastern Conference), who possess one of the league’s top rushing attacks.

When LSU visits The Swamp on Oct. 6, Quinn, now in his second year as UF's defensive coordinator, will lean on lessons learned from a 41-11 loss in Baton Rouge, La., last year and also from those he's gleaned from watching fellow SEC teams take on the Tigers.
