ShareQuarterbacks split reps on Friday
On Thursday, Florida’s two true sophomore quarterbacks met with the media for the first time. Jeff Driskel went first, followed immediately by Jacoby Brissett.
In Friday’s open practice, Brissett was the first to take snaps, but Driskel matched him rep for rep. The two are locked in a dogfight to win the starting spot during spring football practice.
“We’re not gonna say,” Driskel said when asked who got the first snap in Wednesday’s practice. “We’re getting even reps. I can’t even tell you. We were back and forth the whole day.”
