Purifoy positions for increased role

With a mixture of speed and explosiveness, plus a knack for getting his hands on the ball, Loucheiz Purifoy has seen his role expand throughout the season.

Purifoy has excelled as a starting cornerback and as one of Florida’s gunners on the punt unit. His coverage ability, combined with the success of Gators punter Kyle Christy, has created headaches for special teams coordinators throughout the Southeastern Conference.
