As No. 4 Florida (11-1, 7-1 Southeastern Conference) continues to await confirmation they will be heading to the Sugar Bowl, Kent State was on the field Friday looking to make its case to enter the top 16 and earn a spot in a BCS bowl given the winner of the Big East did not surpass the Golden Flashes in the rankings.
