Percy keeping UF’s training staff busy

David Nelson heads out of bounds on a pass reception that was good for 28 yards against FSU last week. Nelson could play a key role against Alabama in the SEC Championship Game Saturday.

If Percy Harvin is unable to play in Saturday’s Southeastern Conference Championship Game with Alabama at the Georgia Dome (4 p.m., CBS) it won’t be for a lack of effort. Following Wednesday’s practice, Florida coach Urban Meyer said that Harvin and the training staff are making every possible effort to get the All-American wide receiver/tailback ready to play.
