Opportunity knocking for state dominance

With a championship in the last three years and another one possible in 2008, the Gators are poised to dominate the state of Florida/Gator Country Photo by Tim Casey.
They really should erect a statue of Charley Pell somewhere on the University of Miami campus. And while they’re about it, they ought to do the same thing at Florida State. Too gaudy? A bit too conspicuous? Okay, how about a bust with a really nice plaque thanking Charley for his contributions to the extended success of their football programs?
