With the 56-10 victory over Hawaii, Florida improved its season-opening record to 78-24 overall, 61-6 at home. Head coach Urban Meyer has never lost a season opener, as he improved to 8-0. UF’s victory was the Gators’ 19th straight in a season-opener, the longest current streak among Southeastern Conference teams
