ShareMuschamp contract extended in August
As a show of good faith that the program was headed in the right direction, Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley gave football coach Will Muschamp a contract extension before the season.
On the heels of a 7-6 record in his first season, many wondered if similar results in his second season would put Muschamp on the hot seat. However, Foley apparently was not worried as Muschamp’s contract was extended by a year in August.
In hindsight, it appears to be a brilliant move after Muschamp delivered an 11-1 record and likely a BCS Bowl bid this season.
