Muschamp fires back at Saban, talks Sugar Bowl

The Florida Gators’ 11-1 season is so sweet they’ll likely be tasting Sugar shortly after New Year’s Day.

“(Florida athletic director) Jeremy (Foley) and I talked this morning and he said it looked like the Sugar Bowl,” Florida coach Will Muschamp said. “Nothing for certain until Sunday night.”

The Allstate Sugar Bowl is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 2 in New Orleans. It is reserved for the SEC Champion, or the SEC team that’s the highest in the BCS Standings if the SEC Champions end up playing for the BCS Championship game.
