This was nothing more than a dog and pony show, a dress rehearsal of sorts for the real season that will begin next week when Troy comes to town. The 90,621 fans who jammed into The Swamp Saturday night came to see a blowout and that’s exactly they got. Urban Meyer’s goal was to get as many players as possible into a real game situation and get out of there without any significant injuries. Check and check, so consider Florida’s 62-3 blowout of Charleston Southern mission accomplished. Now it’s time to get serious.
