Urban Meyer’s first Rocky Top experience was in 1999 when he was an assistant coach at Notre Dame. Things didn’t exactly go as planned that day as the Irish dropped a 38-14 decision but it was enough of an introduction to prepare Meyer for what he would experience as a head coach at Florida.
